The ranch is a contiguous combination of the Middle Arroyo Ranch and Brown Lake Ranch. The ranches have a combined carrying capacity of approximately 623 head based on the BLM permits, both permits allow sheep and cattle.

Water:
The Middle Arroyo Ranches have 9 wells, two are partnership wells and 4 are new wells. Three of the wells are powered by solar pumps, and the rest are on electric submersible pumps. There are 35 new giant tire drinker with float boxes, and 12 miles of new pipe. There are 11 storage tanks and the drinkers are fed by gravity flow. The wells vary in depth from 500 ft to 800 ft.
Wildlife:
This area of New Mexico is rich with many types of wildlife. The Middle Arroyo Ranches have excellent cover and is a perfect habitat for many animals. The abundant supply of water is also an attraction for deer, quail, dove, bobcat, mountain lion, Barbary sheep, antelope and fox, just to name a few.
Climate:
Great winter climate with little snow. Feeding usually consist of protein supplements in the spring and mineral during the year.
